Day #1 Too Much Food?

Not sure if this is normal or not but it seems like alot of food to eat in one sitting. As much as I tried I cannot eat the entire plate of food. Seems that I have been eating the correct amount, but of the wrong things. I'll try again tomorrow and I'm doing more planning.

Breakfast - 1 hardboiled egg , 4 dried dates, water

Lunch - Ground beef in Italian gravy over roasted butternut squash, water

Snack - Raisins and almonds, water.

Dinner - Chicken breast poached in seasoned chicken broth with carrots, snap peas and a mix of broccoli, cabbage and carrot slaw, water.
